Upper Elementary Classroom Teacher

We are an International Academy that exists to support Kingdom work in our country by providing an excellent Christian education in English to Third Culture Kids (TCKs) through inspired learning and guided opportunities in servant leadership. We are seeking passionate, qualified Elementary school teachers with a heart to serve TCKs and a desire to use their gifts in teaching to impact Kingdom work. 

Qualifications:

• Must be a mature Christian with a clear testimony
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
• Preferably 1 -2 years of teaching experience.
• Preferably hold a current teacher’s license

Responsibilities:

• Model a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ in attitude, speech and actions 
• Design and implement instruction that addresses the academic, emotional, social, and physical needs of the students
• Create and submit lesson plans with objectives that align with established curricular goals 
• Maintain a safe, inviting, organized classroom environment that promotes engaged learning
• Differentiate instruction, aligning methods and techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Incorporate creative, hands-on, student centered learning experiences 
• Integrate Biblical principles and Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum
• Collaborate with the Special Education Coordinator to support students with Individualized Educational Programs (IEP)
