Multi-Grade Classroom Teacher

Teach in a multi-grade classroom in a mission setting!

The school is a Hillcrest School (HIS) Satellite school in the town of Wamena near an MAF base. It has three classrooms in a single building teaching grades 1-6, with 10-20 students total. Ideally, each class has two grade levels with 3-7 students.

Qualifications:

• Strong Christian Faith: A commitment to serving and guiding in a Christ-centered setting.
• Relevant Skills & Experience: Competence in your area of expertise and a desire to serve through your work. Most positions require a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Heart for Service: A genuine desire to make a difference in students’ lives while supporting the work families are doing in Papua.
• Flexibility: An ability to do the unexpected.
• Donor–Supported Team Members: A willingness to develop a financial and prayer partnership team to provide the support needed to sustain your ministry.
• Degree: All positions require a bachelor’s degree or higher.The school has subsidized, fully furnished housing, available for teachers on campus.

There is subsidized housing available on the MAF base which the school will help set up.
