Literacy Curriculum Writer

Do you have a passion for literacy, curriculum materials, and marginalized learners? This might be an opportunity for you! 

You would work with a small team to develop literacy materials for usage in multiple sites across Africa, Latin America, and beyond.

A good knowledge of the progression and development of literacy concepts and curriculum up to age 12 is needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with members working on curriculum projects
• Develop curriculum plans, lesson plans, teacher materials, and assessments
• Attend weekly or bi-weekly team meetings  

Qualificiations:

• Undergraduate degree
• Work experience in school setting or similar educational setting
• Cross-cultural experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independentaly and as a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Working knowledge of Office 365 tools including Outlook email and Microsoft Teams
