Human Resources (HR) Manager
Summary: The Human Resources Manager supports the mission of Dakar Academy by fostering an environment that encourages Christian faith and service among staff and students. This role serves as a key liaison between staff and administration, and between the school and partnering sending agencies. The HR Manager oversees staff data management, recruitment processes, onboarding and orientation, and the overall support and coaching of staff throughout their transition and employment. The HR Manager also participates as a member of various administrative and management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating/overseeing the recruitment of staff
- Data management
- Orientation & Onboarding of new staff
- Supervise HR team and other assigned staff
- Maintain communication and updated agreements with sending agencies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- 3 year minimum of Administrative experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience and training in cross-cultural transition is preferred
- Agree to abide by decisions of the Board and administration of Dakar Academy
