Associate National Director | TeachBeyond Canada

In coordination with the TeachBeyond Canada National Director and CANUSA Regional Vice President, the Associate National Director will lead the entity in Canada.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Business, Education, Leadership, Theology or related field of study; equivalent professional career experience highly valued
  • Proven steward leadership and administrative experience in consultation, resources development, working with boards and external partners, and leading diverse or remote teams
  • Significant intercultural experience preferably in areas related to existing TeachBeyond ministries

Professional and Technical:

  • Self-starter, able to work independently, as a team player, remotely and with those working remotely
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Vision-casting, organizational, and project management skills
  • Willingness and ability to adjust and adapt to changing conditions and priorities
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 tools for day-to-day business, including Outlook email and calendar, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Personal:

  • Mature Christian experience, sound judgment, and professional acumen
  • Life philosophy that aligns with TeachBeyond’s Statement of Faith, values, policies, objectives, and doctrine
  • Passion for Christ and the Gospel and active participant in a local church community
  • Motivated by TeachBeyond’s mission and vision of transformational education
  • High standards of personal integrity and ethical practice

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide National Leadership and Strategic Oversight in advancing the mission of TeachBeyond in Canada, includuing the development of ministires reaching the marginalized
  • Develop an annual national office budget line within the Canada & US regional budget
  • Facilitate mobilization, sending and care of missionaries from Canada
  • Cultivate relationships with churches, denominations, and like-minded organizations
  • Represent Canada in TeachBeyond’s global community?
  • Provide annual financial and data reports for strategic plan reporting
  • Provide administrative support for national entity

  • Travel within Canada and internationally may constitute up to 20% of work time
