As we approach 40 Days of Prayer 2026, we will pray “40 Prayers from God’s Word.”  God’s Word is so rich and full, providing us with wonderful opportunities to saturate our lives with his thoughts and ways. Each weekday has a specific focus: Prayers of Paul, Praying a Psalm, Praying Lament, Praying Blessing, and Prayers of Others in Scripture. Saturdays we pray Prayers of Praise with a story celebrating answers to prayer. Sundays, we encourage you to pray and worship in community wherever you are.

How to Engage in Prayer

Use 40 Days of Prayer 2026 to deepen your prayer life, the ways you listen to God, and the time you spend in his Word. Invite a friend to join you and create a chat group together, or just talk about it as you walk to school! Invite family members to join you and have this be a part of your day together, around the dinner table, on a video call, or at bedtime. Invite your church and ministry partners to join you in prayer using the guide together. Read the passages with friends or in your class over the next 40 days. Let 40 Days of Prayer 2026 impact your team meetings; use it for group devotions. Create or enhance a habit of prayer at the beginning of this year!
